Massage is the manipulation of the soft tissue. It involves pressing, pulling stripping and stretching of the muscle fibers. Soft relaxing or deep strokes are used to increase blood flow and aid in the body's healing process.
WHAT WILL MY FIRST SESSION BE LIKE?
If you have never had a massage before it can be a unique experience. For first time clients deep tissue is not recommended as you will feel very sore. Initially with your first massage it is very common to have some soreness much like after a workout. Massage releases toxins that have built up in your muscles. It is necessary to drink plenty of water after your massage. Failure to do so can leave you feeling lethargic and with flu like symptoms.
